REMINDERS ABOUT PERFORMANCE ETIQUETTE

The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra's home venue, the Perot Theatre in Texarkana, Texas asks that patrons observe the following performance etiquette:

• Give yourself plenty of time to get to the theatre.

• Tickets are not sold after the scheduled concert begins, and patrons arriving after concert begins should not expect to be seated immediately.

• There is no smoking in the theatre or lobby areas; no food or drink is allowed in the theatre.

• Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children younger than school age should not be brought to regular performances.

• Please turn off all cell phones, beepers and watch alarms before entering the theatre.

• Law prohibits the possession of any photographing or recording devices in the theatre, without the written permission of the management.

• Please unwrap all cough drops before the concert begins.

• Avoid accoutrements that may make the performance unpleasant for those around you: excessive scents, obstructive hats, jangling bracelets, crinkly plastic bags, etc.

• Please refrain from talking, humming, singing or beating time to the music during the performance.
